Cassified - The Stealth Core

*Miku slowly turned his attention from his hand and was listening to the sounds coming from the convoy, his tone spoke with little emotion as was common with him*

Miku - we need to identify this truck and see if there is any escorts, if this is the convoy we are looking for they won't lose it easyly, Lets move out people, get a lay of the land and design a plan

*Miku rose in a second before using a little paint that he had and applying it to his metal limbs, satisfied with the job he rushed to rejoin the group and view the area*

At this the group scattered to the wind. After a short while a familiar voice reported over the radio.

Rose - Sir target located, well I think it's the target. It's not guarded though. In fact, it's not guarded at all. Either way it's travelling east down Road 56 I. Awaiting further instructions.

After just a few seconds of radio silence two almost identical reports came in. Both reporting they too had the target insite all three however reported on roads 63 I and 42 I.

Rose - Sir? What are we going to do? The targets moving away quickly.

this seems far to simple, If this is the convoy transporting the knightmares then why is nothing escorting them, Could the pilots already be inside the mechs, is there some form of camouflage working here, this all appears like shoddy preparation on Britannia's half.

Miku on the radio – keep advancing, if this is as it seems this will be a easy take, but don't let up your guard for a second, Lets keep this clean people Move in and take the drivers out. watch out for each other

he spoke once more on the radio motioning for one of the team to stay back in a hidden position with a sniper rifle to take the life of the driver if he got the shot. He moves swiftly through the area using what cover was available heading to the truck on 56 I*

Each radio returned with various speeches of acknowledgement. After a few moments a report was made.

Voice - Sir, umm we shot at the driver like ordered. Your not going to believe this but the bullet passed through it as if nothing was even there. It like they are, well ghosts.

Again a second report was identical.

Rose - Sir? Whats the plan? are we going to try and shoot this one too?

*Miku froze to the spot several ideas rushed through his head instantly in his mind he questioned this report and what it could mean, he spoke on the radio in a dire tone to all his troops*

Miku *stressed* - hold positions, fall back slowly and stay out of sight, this is probably the defences they have prepared for this trip, prepare for knightmares from the remaining truck and get a message to command, inform them of the development

*Miku held his ground watching the truck and awaiting any move it made or for a chance he could strike*

Suddenly the truck stopped and an allied sniper fired straight for the driver. Rebounding off of the truck.

The young lad voice reported quickly over the radio.

Boy - Sir... I'm sorry I.. I slipped. I.. I didn't mean to.

Rose - You Idiot!! Sir we either pull out or attack either way they know we are here.

*miku moved to the other side of the hedge he lowered himself to the ground resting with one knee on the ground, He placed his fingers against the small radio in his ear*

Miku - Everyone hold position now, as far as they know, there is only sniper in the area, To any and all other snipers in the area, prepare for any resistance coming for the truck, Rookie i'm heading closer to your location now sit tight and prey to whatever god you have.

*Miku begins heading to the location of the sniper staying out of sight as best he can*

The side of the truck slides up and reveals the four Knightmares in their gleaming glory. The truck remains completely still and silent with not a sound or movement even emitting from the driver.

*Miku now paused no less then 50 yards for the origin of the shot, he held his firearm close to him raised ready to fire he looked around staying low to the ground*

Miku to command - 4 Knightmares have become visible from the truck, they appear motionless but could be lying in wait for our move. They know one of our troop is here but that appears to be all,

*Miku keeps watch on the Knightmare's looking for any sign of movement*

Nothing but static echoes back down the radio. Signal seemingly blocked by the area. Even as Miku approaches the entire area remains still and overly silent. Nothing seemed to be making noise as he approaches the truck. As he concentrated more he realised that there was no noise coming form anything not even animals or insects.

*over the radio keeping his voice quiet and low while still looking around for any signs of something agressive*

Miku - Does anyone see any thing, or notise anything odd about this situation,

*he stays low moving closer to the truck coming closer being meters from the side of the truck*

Over his radio a reply comes

Voice - Umm yes sir. The vehicles, they aren't making any noise.

The vehicles remains completely still in front or Miku.

*Miku listens intently as the voice over the radio explains a odd scene, he looks at the truck infront of him, he quickly takes note of the engine running, he focuses on it trying to hear the engine, being only a few meters away he shouldn't have any problem*

No noise at all is emanating from the machine. The times had passed well for machines yet their noise has remained pretty much the same. As the truck vibrated with the engine it looked rather peculiar.

*his mind slowly began feeling uneasy about this whole situation as it was unfolding before his eyes, from what he could tell, sound seemed out of place around him, the idea of holograms setting firmly in his head, if this was indeed a trap then they should
of been discovered by now, or at least something should of happened, he picked up a nearby rock no bigger then a coin. he thought for a second before tossing it slowly and low enough that it would not alarm anything, he aimed at the nearest tire beside him and breathed deeply*

Miku - Be ready for anything squad

The rock hit the tyre yet still made no noise, it fell the the floor and still; nothing. The more he thought about how the didn't make sense the more his head began to hurt. He focused through the pain which made it grow more immense. The pain brought him down the one knee before his hit the floor. falling unconscious.

As he awoke he felt a rather comfortable bed beneath him. His sheets loosely muddled up on the bad. He had never been a still sleeper. As his eyes focused he could see a familiar face across the rooms shuffling s deck of cards. The young man sat with his mid-length black hair looking, what seemed, uncharacteristically scruffy. He deep blue eyes were fixed upon the cards and he was in a white suit and tie.

*he stayed where he was and let his head rest on the pillow, his vision was slowly focuses and as it did so to did his other senses, from what he could make out he was laying in a hospital room, he closed his eyes once more as a few bits and pieces of memorys slowly began to reform in his head. From what he began to remember this wasen't the first occasion that he had been put in this state, His arm clenched the sheet below him as he felt his own true power returning to him, over the coming hour his headache had passed and he was quickly returning to his normal self, after sleeping on and off for another hour he awoke feeling refreshed, he softly and calmly spoke to the other person in the room*

Miku - How long was i out this time...

He looked up from his cards and smiled at the sight of him being up.

Ace - About... two months it's got to be now. Lazy Git! Bit doing everything on my own. Where you able to complete your orders?

He looks intently the smile fading from his face in a much more serious persona.

*Miku leans back in the bed and lightly exhales, his own tone taking on a similar effect to Ace*

Miku - of course, and it is as we feared,

*he shuts his eyes trying to bring forward all of his memorys relateing to the mission as he remains motionless*
