A Student's Planner

The calming effect this place had over her made her a little unnerved. She nodded to the receptionist and then moved in the direction of the stairs keeping her hands behind her back so as to keep the back closed. As she reached the bottom of the stairs and looked up she froze, like a rabbit in headlights, she then stepped backwards, turned and made her way quickly to the exit. This place may be familiar but it didn't help that she couldn't remember this place.
She reached the doors and entered into the dark world. The cold air helped her some how more then the fake atmosphere in bright lights.

Her legs didn't stop walking after exiting the hotel. She walked out of the hotel lot, out into traffic; several cars swerving so as not to hit her as well as honking their horns in annoyance, but the girl didn't hear it, all she heard was her heart beating. The girl had no idea where she was going but had a feeling in her gut that maybe this was the wrong idea and that the hospital would have been a better place.
A car's horn sounded, the night changed to day and her voice was audible as a scream. Her body wouldn't move except to crash to the floor, the vehicle moved quickly out of the way and she was plunged back into darkness, wet tears rolling down her cheek and her breathing erratic as well as her heart racing more then it had been.

As she collapsed and struggled to look upwards she saw two huge headlight come at her. She watched helplessly as her body simply wouldn't move. As it plummeted toward it reached to about 10 feet from he when something erupted through the ground in front of her.

As her strength slowly began to return to her she struggled to focus. She was in complete darkness and feeling cold. As the ice dome surrounding her melted the freezing water flooded over her giving horrific results to her thin hospital gown. A man with mid length black hair hair was stood with his back facing towards her. He was covered by a long black cloak which hid the rest if his body.

As the freezing water cascaded over the female form on the floor she squealed and instantly curled up into a ball shivering. The ice dome she's seen briefly reminded her of the place she'd been previous, before she blacked out and the temperature dropped. The girl glanced up at the form in front of her.
"A....Ais.....Aisu?" She stuttered her teeth audibly chattering away. It was the last name she'd heard before blacking out.

As Mimi came to she looked around the room she seemed to be in. It was still eerily familiar like she had seen this place, yet through another's eyes. She lay there in warm comfy bed as her vision began to return she sat up. Beginning to become fed up with loosing conciousness she began to look around once more examining the area. She was in what looked like quite an expensive looking room. All washed white with gold plated furniture fit for royalty itself. As she looked onto the a chair in the corner Aisu glared back

Aisu - How hard was it? "room 27, floor 3"

The was quite a clear irritant in his voice.

Aisu - You made me use it, in public of all places, you stupid girl

A smile began to creep across his face, unable to keep up his charade.

Aisu - You haven't changed a bit

Mimi glanced about the place quickly but then her attention focused on the familiar aggitated voice, turning to look at the scowling man in the corner of the white washed room.
"I... I'm sorry..." She replied studying him carefully, things about him may seem familiar but she was unsure if it was due to a distant memory or just the feeling of deja vu. "Um... who...?" She finally asked an curious look painted on her face as she moved so as to look at the man directly, yet not leaving the warmth of the bed.

He looked at her slightly confused before returning to his normal cold demeanour. He looked over at her before speaking.

Aisu - Well, i guess it's true you really don't remember any of us do you? We were with you that night, the gate, when it...

He paused slightly before sighing deeply.

Aisu - Never mind, I'm just happy that your ok. We need to remain here for a bit, remain low, they will surely be looking for you still, is there anything I can get you?

The word gate threw her slightly, at a gate, something about it pulled at an old memory. Something she wanted to tap into but something like a barrier wouldn't let her. Eventually she gave up pushing at the invisible barrier and resided herself to believe that eventually it would unlock and let her remember.
"Um water please." She asked politely, now thinking about what she needed the girl realised that she was very dehydrated, it wasn't long until survival instinct took over and her power started pulling water particals out of the air so as her skin could absorb it.

Aisu - Please refrain from doing that, i also require moisture in the air, if you absorb it all then we may as well be sitting here defenceless.

He walks over through a door in what can be assumed as a bathroom. She hears the soothing sound a water runs filling a cup. He returns into the room and walks over to the bed. Handing her the glass help walks to the window slightly parting the curtains allowing a burst of sunlight into the room. Tell me when your feeling a bit more up to strength, we have others eager to make your acquainttance.

"Oh... sorry." She replied drinking the glass of water quickly, replenishing her liquid levels, enough so that she stopped absorbing water through the air. She placed the glass on the side table and climbed out of the warm bed.

Mimi stepped over to the window just to the side of Aisu. The view here was amazing and a small gasp could be heard from her and then instantly a blush as to how silly she was being.
"Its beautiful up here." She commented. "The way the light catches on most of the buildings."

He turns to face her before going slightly red in the face turning back.

Aisu - You um .... may wish to change your outfit. Perhaps from the selection provided in the wardrobe over there? They should of got your size correct and there is quite a selection, or at least there should be. Use the bathroom if you wish but please be careful. I'd much rather you weren't caught again.

All the time speaking he deliberately keeps his gaze fixed outside the window, gesturing blindly as he spoke.

The girl didn't bother to regester what he was bumbbling about, her thought had turned to her friend whom she knew would love the view as much as she did if not more. Mini followed his arm movement and headed to the closet, once she was there she flicked through the seclection and picked out a few items and moved to the bathroom.
All the while her mind never left the thought of 'Bunny' how she always used to smile and bounce about the pinces, looking at her reflection in the mirror she saw the first sign of a tear and instantly her fingers went to eyes, trying to keep the precious moisture in.

As she changed Aisu remained outside. He slumped down against the window, clenching a locket in he hand. He gritted his teeth tightly before hearing a communications radio.

Aisu - Shit!

He leapt backwards away from the window before taking a gun hidden under his top and emptied the clip into the wall, apparently to no avail as a nightmare crashed in through the window.

Nightmare - Target confirmed, subject 3A9 Charges; murder, treason, harbouring a fugitive. Penalty; death.

Aisu - Not good!

He re loaded his gun and continued emptying shells into the wall.

Aisu - Come on their has to be one somewhere! Bingo!

A small hissing erupted form the wall. a Pipe was pierced and water was pouring out. Aisu had just enough time freeze the main weapon turret before being grapped by the huge metalic hands.

Luckily Mimi had changed just before she heard the round of bullets being released. She span round in full action mode now and sprang for the door leading back out to the room she'd been in with Aisu.
"Aisu!" She called out. "This way!" As she spoke she focused on the moisture in the air and froze most of it creating a mist as the cold mixed with the warmth produced by the sun and he hand was out streched for the man she knew from years back, some how.

As the hand began to crush him he feel like he couldn't breath. The pressure was building up and he quickly began to feel light headed. He gasped over the side of the hand struggling to breathe.

Aisu - Just.....run.........GO!

As the last word he gasped once more and the locket fell out of his hand and rolled across the floor. The nightmare turned to Mimi.

Nightmare - Subject 8G0, Crime; high treason. Penalty; death.

"I won't leave you!" She cried moving from where she was unfreezing the water that Aisu had frozen, and mainulating it to the main joist of the arm where she re-froze it. Quickly the girl focused on the two extra bodies of water, the first one she felt under extreme pressure and knew it was Aisu, the other was warm and weak to sense, using her might she manipulated the second water body to open the mechanical arm then evaporate into the atmosphere weakening the person hidden in the knightmare.

Once that was done Mimi ran to Aisu grabbed him from the arm that was now partially opened, and dragged him to the door picking up what he dropped as she pulled him along with all her might. Which was reduced after all the focus she'd put onto saving him. "Come on I'm not going to risk my life for no reason!"

As Aisu began to leave with Mimi aiding him he struggled to breathe. He stopped briefly and yelled in pain as a cracking could be heard sharply from inside him. Through her touch on him she felt his body temperature plummet at an alarming rate. She retracted her hand from him feeling the feeling when you pick something out of the freezer and it begin to stick to your hand. His completion was turning very white.

Aisu - Don't worry lets keep going, just re-enforced my fractured ribs with ice, it should help for now lets just move.

He grabs hold of her and she instantly feels his ice cold touch once more and pulls her onwards. The knightmare crashes through behind them.

Knightmare - HALT!

Mimi continued running with Aisu. "Aisu, you have a comunicator on you don't you? You said others wanted to meet me. Then call on them for help. Your wounded... I can feel unconcious calling for me." She turned a sharp left dragging aisu with her, some how having a feeling she knew where she was going. They reached a stairwell she paused. "Up or down... which way.... up or down..." The sound of the Knightmare gaining didn't help with the panic. "Down." She attemped to lift Aisu. "Help if you can, go down between the barriers, I'll aid your fall. Keep going on and don't turn back ok?" She said looking at him and handing him the locket back.

Once he was where she needed him to be, the atmosphere turned chilly and what particals she focused on she managed to merge together to form something like a water slide. "Go!" She yawned. "I can't hold this for any major length of time. GO!"

As he glanced backwards between Mini and the Knightmare. He leaps down into the water freezing some into a surfboard surfing down. He glances backwards at the girl. Without he noticing the water beneath her feet formed into a familiar shape forcing her down. As he reached the bottom of the first flight of stairs he froze the wall in front of him before he smashed through it and forming an ice shoot towards the ground.

"WOOoooooOOOOOoooooOOOOWWWWWW!" She half yelps half shouts and she finds herself somehow follwing Aisu down, something she hadn't for seen, but as he's turned the water slide she'd been controlling into ice she didn't need to focus on it any more and found her energy levels close to that of yet another black out stage. "Aisu...." She called in warning of her situation before catching up with him and colliding into his back. "I'm sorry..." She whispered as the edges of her vision started to get blurry and she grabbed hold of the back of his shirt.

He turns around as he reaches the floor and looks in shock as he sees the semi conscious girl plummeting towards him. He outstretches and catches he, albeit awkwardly and flies backwards sliding along the floor.

Aisu - You sure pick a stupid time for these, what an annoying contract.

He stands back and flips her over his shoulder, he drags her round the side of the hotel into an alleyand goes to take out a communicator but all that comes out is a pile of smashed wires and plastic.

Aisu - Dammit!

He slides down against the wall in the alley and cracks open a can and starts drinking.

Aisu - Nothing better than caffeine. Such an easy price.

Mimi collapses next to him and leans on his shoulder, eyes struggling to stay awake.
"It is an annoying contract, but i've not used ... so much power so quickly... ever..." She yawns and her last word broken as her eyes close just before her breathing levels out she mutters. "Can't you search for... team via water.... or you all ice?" With the last word she shudders due to his chilled temperature and falls asleep, dangerously cuddled up to the coldest thing around.

Aisu lays there for a minute thinking about what to do. His powers are ice and ice only albeit to ridiculous extreme. He stares up at the sky to see an all so familiar sight. A familiar glow.

Aisu - Awai! About time he showed up!

He twirled he hands and formed a light mist the seeped into Mimi hoping to re energize her at his own expense.

Aisu - We don't have tome to be sleeping

He gasped. The ribs begging to re-crack as he transfers some of his power into her.

Aisu - We need to get, to that light

Aisu's gift did regenerise her, she came to, but was still very sleepy and apeared to have panda eyes.
"You shouldn't have..." She yawned. "I know.. not time but still..." She stood wobbled slightly but managed to stay standing with her hands outstretched to Aisu. "We must go now." She stated but seeing the pain in his eyes sypmathy entered hers. "I can't offer help, just don't give me any more of your power, heal yourself."

He struggles to his feet and the head in the direction of the light, as they both push themselves closer they hear the approaching of more knightmares. the closer they get to the light the clearer the existence of a figure within it becomes.

Aisu - Awai, where the hell have you been!!?

Awai looks gracefully back and simply smiles, as the two approach him a weird sensation falls over them, like when you are freezing and you take the first sip of hot chocolate. Slowly their energy seems to be replenishing and injuries seem to be healing at a slightly accelerated rate.

Aisu - Ah, I love having you about,

He turns to Mimi and addresses her.

Aisu - Hes always good to be around after a fight, he's not much use during them mind, unless the enemies have a fear of being glowed to death.

He smiles slightly relaxing before remembering the we not out of it yet.

Awai - The truck is this way.

He voice seems different than before, almost like he words were in a song. He gestures towards a large black truck and begins to levitate towards it.

Mimi felt her energy restoring the closer they got to Awai and the evidience was that her panda eyes were fading. She didn't reply aout Awai's uselessness in a fight just nodded and then looked toward the truck. She knew that from now on she was no longer a normal of what could be classed as normal student. Now she was a rogue against her country, this should have hit her into shock but she wa coping with so much it didn't seem to phase her.

The newly realised rogue made her way towards the truck, realising that if they didn't move soon they'd be caught by Knightmares again. Upon reaach the truck and trying to climb into it she started to slip and would have done an amazing 10.0 fall smashing her face onto the truck as she fell, had a hand not come ouf of the darkness of the back and helped steady her.

"Careful there Mimi, we need you concious and unhurt." An amost familiar voice called out to her as she was pulled up and in. Mimi's eyes adjusted to the darkness and realised the familiar voice came from a green haired woman in dungeree's and short white shirt, all of which were dirty. "Its been a while girl, you've not changed." A smile was plasted on the womans face. "Hey Aisu, what you do to her? Her expression is that of confusion and barely any trust!" Kusaki called out to her friend.

"Aisu...." Mimi suddenly muttered remembering he'd been hurt. She turned round, made her way to the edge of the truck and looked at the man whom has saved her life... twice. "Aisu... how's your ribs?"
"Ribs?" Kusaki asked. "You didn't get hurt did you? You and her are strong together and your hurt? Your stronger then her and your hurt?!" All of this was in disbelieve, slight annoyance but with an undertone of concern.
